Company profile of Terra Nostra GmbH

Terra Nostra GmbH manufactures and distributes the versatile natural biocidal active substance Margosa extract. The active substance has pronounced repellent properties and is therefore used in a wide range of biocidal products across many different market segments.

Margosa extract is in the approval procedure for product type 19 (repellents and attractants) under Biocidal Products Regulation (EU) No. 528/2012 (“Biocide Regulation”). The active substance notification is carried out by Terra Nostra Registration Service Srl., a member of the Terra Nostra Group.

For more than 15 years we have been supplying customers in Europe, the USA and Asia with the pure active substance, active substance formulations and ready-to-use biocidal products. Companies from the cosmetics industry have also been among our customers for many years, as Margosa extract, an ingredient permitted under the EU Cosmetics Regulation, is characterised by its skin-care and softening properties.
